Jack Conway is a writer with the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His newest poem, "The Agamemnon Rag" appears in Poetry. His work has also appeared in The Antioch Review, The Columbia Review, Rattle, Yankee, The Norton Book of Light Verse, and In A Fine Frenzy: Poets Respond to Shakespeare among others. He is the author of the nonfiction book, American Literacy: Fifty Books That Define Our Culture and Ourselves, published by William Morrow (1994). He previously taught at Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts, Boston University College of Communication and the Sarah Doyle Writer's Workshop at Brown University.
