Miriam N. Kotzin

Miriam N. Kotzin teaches literature and creative writing at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she directs the Certificate Program in Writing and Publishing. She writes both poetry and fiction. In 2004 her poetry received two nominations for a Pushcart Prize.

Her fiction has appeared in a number of online publications, including Carve, Fiction Warehouse, Thieves Jargon, SmokeLong Quarterly, Pindeldyboz, The Dead Mule, Word Riot, The Beat, Rumble, The Quarterly Staple, Rose & Thorn, SaucyVox, Offcourse, and Slow Trains. She and her writing partner, Bill Turner, have published numerous short stories, including a short story, "Resting Place," in the February 2005 issue of Amarillo Bay.
