Steven Schroeder teaches Humanities and Philosophy at Roosevelt University in Chicago and Shenzhen University in the People's Republic of China. He is the author of five books, and his poetry has appeared in a number of journals, including the Cresset, Georgetown Review, Halcyon, Petroglyph, Rhino, and Texas Review. A chapbook, Theory of Cats, was published by Pudding House Press in 2003.
