Lea Tassie grew up in northern British Columbia and has lived in various places in Canada and the US. She has a B.A. in Classical Studies. She has published a variety of short pieces and her story, "Guardians," won Storyteller's 1999 Great Canadian Short Story contest. Three of her novels have been published: Tour into Danger, a suspense; Ashes, a romantic suspense; and Cats in Clover, humor. She now lives in Victoria, B.C.'s banana belt, and is currently working on two mainstream novels, another humorous cat novel and an assortment of short stories.
