Amarillo Bay Privacy Policy

Amarillo Bay takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy, effective 2 August 2004, describes how we deal with private information and data we obtain from you.

Data Collection

Amarillo Bay only asks for personal data if you sign up for notification that a new issue of Amarillo Bay is available (see Notification of Latest Amarillo Bay Issue). The required data is so we can send e-mail notification to you by your name, and know the date that you requested the service. Optional data is to tell us your location to give us a better understanding of who our readers are.

Cookies

Amarillo Bay does not use cookies or other technology to track you when you are on the Amarillo Bay Web site. It’s not that we are opposed to them, just that we don’t need them.

Data Sharing

Amarillo Bay does not rent or sell your personally identifying data to other companies or individuals. If Amarillo Bay is acquired by another individual, group, or company, we will provide you notice before any personally identifiable data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Security

Amarillo Bay guards your personal data with the same care that we use to guard our own personal data, which involves appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access and unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data.

Generally, access to your personally identifying data is restricted to Amarillo Bay workers who need the data in order to send notification of new issues or other information we send you. However, if when you sign up to receive notification you provide a comment, the comment will be sent to the appropriate person to reply, along with the other data you provide. Similarly, if you send an e-mail message to anyone at Amarillo Bay, the message may be sent to an appropriate person for reply.

Amarillo Bay may change this Privacy Policy. New versions of the policy will be posted on this page. If the changes are significant, we will send an e-mail message to the people whose data we have collected. You can see previous versions of the Amarillo Bay Privacy Policy.
