Pretty One More Time

She dreams of being pretty
one more time and recalls
when men would undress her
with their eyes and she obliged.
Where flirtations would arise
and lead to clandestine affairs.
She says she's glad to have friends
who remember how she was back then.
Such a pity she doesn't realize she's
sitting pretty even now but no amount
of reassurance can convince her
when she has a mirror to reflect in.
